This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC)and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This Profibus communication module is equipped with 1 SUB-D 9-pin female for Profibus DP. The Modicon X80 automation platform complies with "TC" treatment requirements (treatment for all climates) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. Its casing provides IP20 protection of the electronics. This module has a weight of 0.270kg. This product meets the needs of our customers from Smart Infrastructure, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Data centers and Power generation. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, UKCA and EAC standards and is certified for Power Generation, Merchant Navy, Railway and Hazardous areas applications. This product is compatible with Modicon M580 processor. The product must be installed on the rack and fixed with 2 screws. Modicon X80 consists in a compatible modules common platform that reduce maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock, and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs.
