In Modicon Quantum range, I/O scanning works with following Modbus function codes:
- FC3 for Reading Multiple 4X registers.
- FC16 for Writing Multiple 4X registers.
- If both the read and write are filled out then FC23 for Read/Write Multiple 4X registers is used.
